Description: VTG 1950s/60s 3-D Handmade Leaf Brooch Wrapped Spun Gold Plated Wire ~ 2 1/2" H In good preowned vintage condition. Era estimated 1950s / 1960s.This spun wire is probably gold plated (probably over copper). A 10k acid test did not dissolve the scratch (on black stone), which was somewhat copper colored. Clasp works. Some signs of plating loss and an errant wire or two that sometimes needs to be coaxed back into place. A shiny gold color in good lighting. (Due to reflections, it is hard to photograph such items well). About 2 1/2" . (see photographs next to ruler).See photographs.
