Description: VINTAGE ORIGINAL FDR PRINT COPYRIGHT 1941 BY DENES GARA CLEVELAND OHIO "UNITED FOR VICTORY..WITH OUR COMMANDER IN CHIEF - THAT GOVERNMENT...BY THE PEOPLE SHALL NOT PERISH FOM THE NATION" Very rare indeed. As found under glass in wood frame.This is similar to theWorlds Great War For Freedom by Max Stern print but is one year earlier and is from Denes Gara of Cleveland and not Chicago.Frame appears was painted to resemble silver but is flaking and worn, glass has some chipping along edges and corners; paper print has some thinning & age holes at top, pin holes in corners and light staining around the edges and bottom; has simple cardboard backing. The paper itself is sturdy and fine in the graphics area and it's just the outside edges that have flaws. The back still has all it's original swing clip holders. The frame measures 12" x 15" and the paper lithograph(?) print measures just slightly smaller. Properly reframed and matted, this will display very well but you may want to keep it all original which still displays well.
