Available for immediate purchase is this rare, with presentation box, 1940s vintage, fully corded and sealed (with evaporation), made in France, guaranteed original and authentic (Red Batch Number: 50C5; T.D.S.P [Tratado sobre el Derecho Sustantivo de Patentes]; Registration Number: 5.249), Shanghai parfum splash in a dainty 0.25-ounce (1/4 ounce or 7.5ml) size by Lenthéric. All photos were taken in natural light at 40x magnification to best highlight overall condition. The buyer will receive the exact item pictured. This bottle is in excellent condition for its age. The face label has some light staining, but is completely intact and readable. All labels are present on the back of the presentation box. Please note: there are some debris affixed to the interior glass (see photos). The presentation box is structurally sound with a smidgen of exterior staining. The top portion of the box contains its original interior paper padding. The red batch number on the back of the presentation box matches the red batch number stamped on the reverse side of the bottle’s face label. Originally launched in 1911 under the name “Cœur de Paris” and then renamed and relaunched in 1936 as “Shanghai” and finally discontinued sometime during the mid-1950’s, Shanghai is classified as a spicy, powdery floral scent and features top notes of aldehydes, bergamot, cinnamon, clove, and citronella; middle notes of carnation, jasmine, Bulgarian rose, geranium, and lavender on a base of frankincense, cedarwood, tonka, vetiver, oak moss, myrrh, benzoin, amber, musk, and sandalwood.
