It features a comfortable handle and a razor-sharp, short strong blade with a rounded cutting edge. M390 Microclean® - the highest quality modern tool steel. Manufactured using powder metallurgy technology with extremely high corrosion and abrasion resistance. High-chromium steel with a chromium (Cr) content of 20.0% and vanadium (V) content of 4.0%. Hardened in the range of 59-61 HRC. The steel has undergone vacuum and cryogenic treatments and double tempering. Manufactured at the Böhler-Uddeholm steelworks in Austria. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) a vacuum deposition method used to deposit thin films by condensing an evaporated form of the desired material onto the surface of the workpiece. The coating method involves a purely physical process such as high-temperature vacuum evaporation followed by condensation. The applied coating has a very high hardness which significantly increases the resistance of the blade to rust and abrasive wear.
