Description: Vintage Handmade Shipwrights/Shipbuilders Caulking Iron/Chisel This beautiful handmade shipwrights caulking iron is in full working order & a solid tool. It does have oxidization, staining & patches of rust but nothing that has eaten deep it is just from many years of use in environments where moisture is present. Tool has been well looked after and cleaned over the years as can be seen from the images/condition. The edge is in tact and does not have any chunks etc missing. The previous owners initials are present 1 on the face (TR) and some along the handle of the tool (cant read exactly what it says but appears to be a name.
