Description: Vintage/original Turner Toys six wheel dump truck - scarce/1920's-30's. Beautiful display toy. It has that look of light rust coming up through the paint, but the metal is very sturdy. Like a lot of toys approaching the century mark, the truck is a little wobbly. But the wheels roll, the tailgate swings, and the dump bed goes up and down. Somewhere along the line the tires were painted white, but the legend "Turner Toys Dayton O. U.S.A." on the tires is legible. The lifting mechanism for the dump bed is not broken, but must be operated slowly and easily so it doesn't slip out of the bracket. It measures: 27" long x 9" at the widest point.
