It is handmade from 100% wool in a twill weave. There is white fringe on the parallel short sides. The tag is still in tact and reads "The Zapotec Collection Denver Merchandise Mart 100% Wool Handwoven in Teotitlan Del Valle, Oaxaca, Mexico". It measures to 28 inches by 16 inches. There are no visible holes rips or stains. There is a light odor but we have not attempted to wash this piece.
