Description: A nice super premium “Yankee” Stanley Dual Branded No 2101A. Very good condition, large and heavy duty 12 inch sweep Bit Brace with ball bearing chuck, universal jaws and the smoothest ratchet system ever. This brace is marked North Brothers, A Division of Stanley Works, so manufacture date us just after Stanley purchasing the company and prior to the rebranding to the Stanley name. This Brace has universal jaws that uses traditional tapered auger bits as well as the more modern round and hex shank bits. It also has a ball bearing chuck that makes it easier to tighten and loosen the jaws on an auger bit. This brace was manufactured circa 1935 mote than 80years ago and will last another lifetime with proper care. Tested and lubricated, the brace looks good and Works great, the joints at the head and ratchet are tight and firm, zero excess play or wobble. Great condition, Fine collectible user.
