Description: This is a Wagner Ware No 7 cast iron skillet in fully restored condition. This skillet was manufactured between 1920-1935. The bottom surface has does have sulfur damage. The cooking surface is not in the greatest of condition, but it is still kind of smooth to the touch. This would make a great skillet for the BBQ, camping or even a daily user. And, the No 7s can be hard to find sometimes. Two sheets of printer paper slipped under one side of the pan stops movement on a polished granite surface. No chips, cracks or repairs and does not spin.Test for flatness of skillet. With the skillet resting on a polished granite surface, press down all along the top rim searching for movement. If movement is found, slip pieces of printer paper under one edge of the until pot stops moving. This item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process ensures the removal of all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. The item is lightly seasoned with one round of Crisco at 450 for 1 hour. This item was photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, items may take on a brown color. Items are much darker under normal light.
