Description: Vintage 1940's personalized record recording from a gentleman to his family during WWII. These recorded records were used in place of written letters back in the 1940's. Many were recorded by a soldier headed off to serve in WWII and sent to his family. The record was manufactured by International Motoscope Corporation in New York City. It is a 6" vinyl record in a 78 RPM format. This one is in good condition, comes with it's original mailing envelope. We were able to play the record and there is a personal recording from a guy to his family during the WWII time frame. There is also a signature on the envelope that is likely from the person on the recording. Would make a very nice addition to your WWII collection, or vintage record collection.
