Description: Fantastic Estate sale find. Classic Vintage Verona Artise Accordion Italy 2-3 Reed 120 Base made in the 1940's with a wonderful peralized Black and silver foil variegated finish and in Excellent pre-owned condition. With case that has seen better days but it has done it's job and protected this beautifully. One lock is broken and some tape along one of the seams. The handle says "Monarch" NO musty odors whatsoever. I had a friend who used to play on the Big Joe polka show out of Omaha to play it and tell me what she thought and it sounded great. She say it is an intermediate Accordion well made and in terrific shape with normal to light signs of use. Bellows not cracked and the exterior is near perfect and literally scuff free with the exception of ONE small rubbing loss on one of the legs; NO Cracks or repairs. ONE pin missing o the metal grill which is dent free. the straps are also very good and in working shape. One of the keys on the French Ivory fingerboard is ever so slightly raised she said a pad perhaps but it didn't affect the playability or sound.
