Description: Selling this lovely Vintage Urei 1176 Rev H compressor. This revision was the last one from the original Universal Audio era. This revision also shares the same circuit design of Rev G, which uses a black face plate. This 1176 is in great shape for its age. Faceplace is very clean, and the chassis has some oxidation, but nothing beyond normal for these units. They tend to get dirty pretty easily. Circuit board and VU meter are perfect. I serviced the unit recently, replacing some electrolytic capacitors and cleaning potentiometers. This 1176 works great and is not scratchy, noisy, or anything “non desirable”. This unit comes with new pig tails made with Belden cables and Neutrik XLR connectors. Just plug and play. Its ready for a few more decades of great sounding records!
