Description: Made from 3/4" red oak this bank is approximately 5" wide by 6 1/2" tall by 4 3/8" deep with a vintage size #1 U S flying eagle Post Office box door. The door was manufactured of zinc in the 1940's during WWII when brass and bronze was devoted to the war effort. This door has become a favorite among collectors for it's design and symbolism. The combination lock works perfectly and the combo and instructions come with the bank. All of my banks come with felt pads on the bottom to prevent scratching. I added a brass coin slot for protection and enhanced appearance. If you have any questions or doubts about the quality of my banks, which I will put up against any on the market, please check out my feedback. You can see more of my banks in my eBay store to get an idea of the many different styles and sizes available+ Thanks for looking! The bank in the photo is the bank you will receive.
