Description: For your consideration is a Vintage Tumi Black Leather Backpack/Computer Bag Combo with a lot of pockets and space. It was purchased around late 1990's or early 2000's. It is clean inside and the outside is in great condition too but there are a few light scratches/wear on the leather. It was only carried a few times and two of those trips were from Chicago to London usually placed in the overhead. This bag has the padded strips in the main compartment to protect your laptop. There is an area for pens, business cards, etc. We have attempted to show all areas of the bag on the outside and inside each pocket. Cleaning it out for this listing we kept thinking we had everything out and would find another pocket with some items in it. It was never registered until this morning when we were trying to track the serial number to find what year it was made - we have shown a picture of this plate with the number engraved on it. Did not come up with a date but know it had to be prior to 2004 because the motrin bottle found inside the bag had an expiration date of 9/2004 and we never used expired medications. It purchased in Chicago but don't recall if it was Neiman Marcus or a Luggage Place in the Water Tower Building. It is a great built bag and has fantastic personality. When it was carried it did receive positive comments. Tumi has always had the reputation for quality and this is 1 of 15 of their bags/luggage that we own. We have attempted to show everything in the picture but if there is something you feel we missed - please send us a message and we will be glad to provide.
