Description: A nice piece. Handle is original. Previous owner left it propped against a wall and moisture damaged the tongue and wedge so the head needed to be seated down and wedged again. Hung tightly with a wild cherry wedge and filed and honed. Very little mushrooming on poll. Some of the original blue paint remains on the bevels. Handle was painted blue by previous owner and some of the paint remains in the wood grain. Very happy with how this one came out and would make an excellent gift to a collector.
