People are listing this in error as if it was made in 1969, but it was actually the book. “Sylvester and the Magic Pebble” by William Steig that was released in 1969 This is part of the retired stock from my specialty toy store and it’s super sweet, especially if you’re reading the book together and using it as an educational interaction toy. The back of the donkey unzips and the rock cover comes out, which is part of the story when the donkey is turned into a stone . This is still in new condition. It is never been sold or used. However, the tag itself is paper and has some bends and creases on it.
