I have not played this game but from what I understand this video game is a Virtual Reality tank battle game, This Video Game is un-opened in a sealed package, the plastic seal dose have some small holes in it and the box has some dents, dings worn spots and damage from being packed under stuff in a box (seen in the pictures). I believe the contents inside the box should be ok and usable if you are planning on opening the box and using the game but I believe the game would be a more valuable collectable in it's un-opened sealed box, I'm not sure of the contents of the un-opened boxes but I have a box that was opened and it contained (3) 3.5" diskettes, a user's guide, some registration cards and unfortunately "Read Me" cards that read "Our programmers have been working around the clock to get Spectre VR released before Christmas. We were unable to provide all of the networking compatibility mentioned on the package and in the user guide. At this point, network play will work only when you have NETBIOS enabled. Modem and direct connect are supported but as of this version, Novell IPX is not. We will, however, offer a patch disk if you write a note on your registration card or call our technical support at (area code) phone number. my guess is the phone number will not work and I'm not sure if the company is even in business at the address in San Francisco. also there is a "Read Me" card that says VRchitect TM Game Editor - Design your own worlds. Our excellent programmers could not get VRchitect TM for the IBM-PC ready in time for the initial release of Spectre VR TM. Send us your registration card, we'll be glad to send it to you FREE. I don't know if there are also 5.25" floppy disks or cd's included or not but that's what is in the opened box I have. I don't know if the patches are available anywhere or not but with some searching on-line or in forums they may be available somewhere.
