Description: Vintage S.O.S. FIRE GUARD Brass 1½ Qt., Heavy Duty Fire Extinguisher. Manufactured by The General Detroit Corp., Detroit, Mich. Last patent is 2252814 (1941). It is in overall good condition with some pin head sized dents and some minor areas of dezincification (see pictures for imperfections). Measures approx. 17.5" tall by 3" in diameter. The extinguisher has been machine buffed, hand polished, and clear coated. The extinguisher is EMPTY and the pump handle does move in and out but it is being sold as a collectible item only. Unless my items are listed as New or MIB (Mint In Box/Bag) they are used, so expect there to be some wear and signs of usage.
