Description: This is an unmarked handmade and hand painted Vietri Solimene fish dish or plate. It was purchased back in the late 1980’s during a trip to Italy. I have many others that are marked but a few were missing the backstamp. My other listings shows the back stamp on a dish purchased at the same shop on the same day. This plate measures approximately 10.5” long by 9.5” tall. It’s painted in shades of green, blue, burgundy and black with a maroon mouth. The plate has raised details including the eye and the small lower fin. As with any handmade item there are small imperfections in the glaze, they are not chips and were there when purchased.
