Description: For sale is this vintage Snow & Nealley axe, weighing 3lbs. 3.2 oz. overall, with its original Snow & Nealley 27-9/16" wooden handle. Unbranded, the head measures 6-1/4" long, with a 4" wide edge, and a 15/16" X 2-1/2" poll. The edge is excellent, and will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. The poll shows no use and wear, as pictured. The original handle, signed "Snow & Nealley Bangor, Maine", is sound and solid,>>>BUT WITH A ROUGH SPOT UNDER THE HEAD, AS SHOWN IN THE LAST TWO{2} PICTURES!!<<<.
