Vintage Signed Southwest Inlaid Sterling Bracelet

Description: This is a Beautiful, Vintage Estate Signed 5 7/8" Southwest Inlaid Sterling Silver Bracelet. The bracelet has a thick profile in sterling silver giving it a very nice heavy feel. It is beautifully inlaid with a number of polished gemstones that appear to be turquoise, coral, malachite, onyx, and lapis. Please note that the appearance of adjacent triangular sections of onyx and lapis is very different on the actual bracelet than it looks on the photo, highlighted by the flash. On the photo, the two colors are very distinct, but on the actual piece you will find your eye blends the two colors together and the contrast between them is apparent only on close inspection. The photos are closeups; the actual size relative to a US dime is shown in a lower photo. The bracelet is about 5/16" (7 MM)" wide and 3/16" (4 MM) thick. The inside circumference of the bracelet is 5 7/8" including the 1 1/6" gap. Please note that this is a relatively small size, so make sure that it will be appropriate for the intended wearer. Due to the nice heavy silver profile, ther is no flexibility in the gap. The bracelet weighs 36.7 grams and it has a nice heavy feel. The bracelet is signed "BGM" in a block letter style with an adjacent symbol that appears to me to be a Native American medicine shield. It is also marked both ".925" and"STERLING" as seen in a closeup photo in the lower photo group. I did some research but I was not able to find any specific information as to the maker so we listed it in the Southwest category. The information we received at the estate sale where we purchased it was that it was thought to be Navajo but we have no independent verification of that information. This lovely bracelet would be a wonderful addition to your collection of sterling turquoise jewelry and it would also make a wonder gift for Christmas or any occasion.
