Vintage Science Program Science Service 6 Books Ballistics (1970/71, PB) Used

Description: Up for consideration is the books Science Program by Science Service. The Science Program was published by Nelson Doubleday, Inc., with the help of the Science Service. These books, called 'albums,' were sold as a subscription service and delivered monthly. The books themselves were printed in two colors, but gummed sticker full-color photos were distributed with each book, numbered according to blanks found within the book, to be applied by the reader. It appears the Science Program began in the late 1950's, and continued into the 1970's. The internal contents of the books varied little, although addendum's and corrections were often stapled into the booklet's center along with the image stickers. This box includes Telescopes and Observatories-1970 Archaeology Old World B.C.-1971 Archaeology Middle America-1971 Ballistics-1971 The Human Body and how it Works-1971 Life in the Sea-1971 The set is in good condition. They have light wear along the edges. The stickers are intact in all the books. A few have a personal library stamp on the inside of the cover page. The box has wear along the edges and fading.
