Description: Vintage Scheurich Keramik Mid Century Modern Floor Vase W. Germany 217- 42 16.5"H Vintage MCM tall pottery floor vase in burnt orange, brown and tan by Scheurich Keramik of West Germany. This a lovely straight-sided cylindrical vessel measures 16.5" tall and 6.5" in diameter and weighing just over 7 lbs. Marked 217 - 42, W.Germany on bottom. Scheurich was established 1954 and became the largest producer of art pottery from the 1960s through the 1980s. Pieces were crafted of white clay and numbered on the base with the shape (217) and the height to the nearest centimeter (42). Condition is VERY GOOD pre-owned. A few rough spots and small chip on top edge. There is a small manufacture flaw at bottom edge. SEE PHOTOS.
