My Saab Story Before anything else, please understand that there are no warranties or guarantees of any kind, expressed or implied for anything I have for sale. Bidding on this or any other item I have for sale means you understand this and agree to these terms. In college in the mid 70s I had a 1968 V4 Saab 96. Advance to many years later when I decided I wanted another 96 to restore. I bought one that ran when I picked it up but had some floorboard rust that I thought I could learn to repair. After seriously dismantling this car I realized the floor rust was much worse than I initially thought. Hoping that one day I would get around to fixing the rust damage I rebuilt, had rebuilt, purchased new parts or parts rebuilt by people I felt qualified to rebuild this type of equipment. After rebuilding, replacing or having rebuilt every thing I could I was left with the body work. I even took 2 welding classes thinking I could learn to weld to fix the body rot. It was then that I came to the realization that I could not, nor did I want to pursue fixing the body and going through the process of painting and reassembling the car I decided to sell off everything so I could to open up the space in my garage. Everything I list will have a full description of what it is, what was done and by whom the work was done. I will be posting quite a few parts along the way so check back often.
