Description: This listing is for a vintage set of handpainted, porcelain salt and pepper shakers. They were produced in Japan and imported to the US most likely in the 1940's. The floral motif shakers are cobalt blue, accented with gold, with a raised, textured, painted bead pattern surrounding the shakers. The paint is vibrant and the majority of the gold gilding is mostly present. They do not have their original corks. Generally, if present, the corks are brittle and not functional. A glaze skip near the left shaker in photos 7 & 8. Overall, the set is in good, vintage condition. See all photos for overall condition. Measurements: 2" x 3.25" Your set is mailed to you wrapped in bubble wrap, surrounded by packing, and shipped to you in a sturdy box.
