Also, if you search my shop, you will notice that from color and texture / material points of view this helmet looks like the miner helmets I have, but shape is way different. I searched for construction helmets in the Communism era, they dont look like this one. I dont want to misslead clients in any way, so I hope this info is helping in making an opinion. This protective helmet was made in the very early Communist Era.Made in Romania, in the 1970s, part from the endowment of the Romanian army, and it was used by military firefighters / construction or railways.The material is fiberglass and/or bakelite textolit mix.Status: the helmet is in a nice vintage condition, with signs of use, stains and scratches.
