This Remington operates simply with straight stitch, or... there are several decorative stitches available via the 12 cams. Features: All metal machine (very heavy), but absolutely no rust. Good stitch quality Feed dog has 3 levels for light, medium and free motion quilting. 7 presser feet (includes an "embroidery spring" -see the manual) Spare light bulb. 12 decorative stitch cams Original manual The machine came into the shop frozen and inoperable from non-use. (not unusual). It was clearly cared for and kept in a dry place making this a jewel of a machine at nearly 70 years old, It was disassembled, serviced, reassembled Oiled, greased New belt New needle installed, tested Important Notes: When using the cams for decorative stitches, move the needle position to the far riett for pereci execuiion. The zigzag and other stitches randomly skip a stitch on the right-hand side unless the needle position is moved to the far right. It also requires the correct presser foot which is currently on the machine. As inctructed in the manual, move the handwheel towards you when starting the motor to give it a smooth start. **Please look at pictures carefully and ask any and all questions.
