Description: Collectors lithograph print (from original pencil on Vellum 1982) by Ray Wallace special productions, Inc San Pedro, California Ray Wallace was a renowned designer, artist, architect, shipbuilder, licensed master mariner and ocean-racing yachtsman. He participated in many transpacific and transatlantic sailing races. This print measures 9.25” x 6” and would frame beautifully. It is in new condition, taken from a box of unsold prints acquired in an estate sale. “The Banning wharf about 1885, once located at the end of Avalon Street, Wilmington, California. Moored alongside is the Schooner General Banning that carried freight and passengers between Wilmington and San Francisco. Backed on to the long wharf is a locomotive and box cars of the Los Angeles & San Pedro Railroad. The eastern slopes of the Palos Verdes hills can be seen in the right background.”
