Description: This sale features a 1928-C $1.00 Silver Certificate. The Pictures shown - serial number E06896616B - are of the exact item you will receive. This note from the rare and popular “Woods-Woodin” signature combination 1928-C series has light rounding and wear on all 4 corners. There are 3 heavy vertical creases, along with lesser creases, folds, and wrinkling throughout. The bill is discolored from its use over the years - especially in and around the top margin - with a couple extra stains: a black stain - smaller than a serial number digit - in the bottom back margin; and a curved light purple stain to the left of Washington’s portrait that appears to be a partial bank stamp. The edges are generally smooth, but there is a 1/4-inch tear at the left middle and a small notch at the bottom middle which does not extend into the printed area. Beyond these imperfections, you have a decent bill from a very popular series, with a bold blue seal and no holes or missing pieces. The bill will be shipped FREE by USPS First Class Mail in a rigid plastic holder, surrounded by cardboard for extra protection.Good Luck and happy bidding!!
