This is what it looks like to me : The quilt top was stored improperly probably in a basement or attic. It has staining-more than you can see in the pictures. It looks like some one washed it maybe in a machine and there is some unraveling of these old fabrics and a few places where the pieces have separated. I don't see any "HOLES" just places where the fabrics have separated.I think this could be made into a nice quilt but it needs some TLC and. someone who can forgive its flaws.
