Description: SUMMARY: A vintage solid silver, key-wind Swiss cylinder pocket watch with a white enamel dial for a 150 year old pocket watch. The watch dating from the 1860's. This is a beautifully made key-wound man's or ladies pocket watch from the Victorian period. The watch is sold as a project and requires repair to the balance staff, so sold not working. THE DIAL: 99% mint, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and in bright condition with no chips or hairlines. The dial with fine blue steel spade hands. Diameter is 32 mm. The crystal is also in excellent condition. THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, a gilded three quarter plate and a Bosely regulator, and blue steel screws. An uncut three arm balance, with hairspring and cylinder escapement. THE CASE: 99% mint, the solid silver case measures an impressive 39 mm. The front and rear covers are excellent, both are hinged and close nice and tightly. The case in very crisp and clean condition, most unusual for this type of case. This is a high quality watch, a work of art in its own right in crisp condition. The case with Swiss hall-marks and silver mark. The watch comes with a new presentation box.
