Vintage Pressed Steel 1959 Tonka B-212 White Arial Ladder Fire Truck Repaint

Description: Here is a nice white Tonka Arial Ladder Truck in good condition. Please review the photos closely and judge condition for yourself. This is the hard to find and very desirable white ladder semi only produced one year, 1959. This example was restored many years ago. I did NOT do the resto, but it appears to be high quality automotive paint, still has a lustrous shine, and displays very well. Water slide decals look very authentic. There may be a few imperfections here and there, some chips in the paint, but overall a very clean toy. On the right side fuel tank of the cab, the paint is chipping on the lower edges, and one corner of the saddle tank has been touched up. The cable that raises and lowers the ladder section is missing, but replacements can be found online. The rear tiller jump seat on top of the ladder is missing the wheel. Still has both original ladder extension sections. Wheels are all in good shape and roll as they should. Truck was assembled with factory style tubular rivets for an original appearance. Hydraulic ladder lifting cylinders still work well. Original windshield, hood siren, roof light, grille, and bumper. Not sure about the headlights, but the tires look like reproductions. Im a really tough critic on repainted Tonkas. Very seldom do I see a resto that meets my standards, but I certainly enjoyed displaying this one in my collection for quite a while.
