Description: Moore Drug Company, Nebraska (c. 1950's). The Rexall Store. 601 Lincoln Avenue. 2.5 x 1.5 Inches. Box Condition: Fine. These pescription boxes were used into the 1950's by the Moore Drug Company to dispense tablets and capsules. Glass and later plastic vials eventually replaced this system. The prescription label was typed and placed inside the box with the medicine. Child-Resistant containers were not a concern. I have 8 of these unique boxes in my inventory, which I am offering for sale individually. They are all in fine, unused condition. They were acquired at the local Rexall Store in York, Nebraska when it closed down, and were thus never issued.
