Description: Vintage Patton Model 6BFF Null Modem Adapter. DB-25 Female and Female Connectors. Patton has not supported this item since 2012. Gold plated pins. Model 6 B is for a standard handshake. This connection allows for the most common hardware flow control. Data Terminals don't want to "talk" to each other! Neither do Personal Computers or serial printers! They will only talk to modems (DCEs), not to each other (DTEs). But these devices can be "fooled" into thinking they are connected to "modems" when they are not. This Null Modem Adapter (sometimes called async. modem eliminator or cross over cable) will do the job. I do not ship outside US.
