Description: Yee haw !! A Rogers 14 inch rim pair for a DynaSonice snare drum from about 1975-1982. You are looking at a used vintage pair of ROGERS DRUMS 14 Dyna Sonic rims, or hoops. These are good player's grade rims. They are not museum or collector grade parts. Chrome over steel. (American triple chrome plate, not that import chrome.) The size is for 14 inch heads. Ten holes for a ten lug drum. This pair came from a Rogers big R Dyna Sonic snare drum in size 14. These hoops are only seen on Rogers snare drums made in the 1970s, or between 1973-1982. After that they weren't made in the USA anymore. Year is about 1977, give or take a couple years. This pair is in good usable condition. There are no cracks in the ear holes, like some have, but the top rim has been overtightened and dug into, so use washers like the drum should have. The good news is that the rims sit flat with no wobble on flat plate glass. There has been a previous cleaning with steel wool making those fine scratch lines that will not go away. As seen in a couple photos. We never recommend steel wool, and we never use it. And that is why. There are some scuffs too, of course. It's almost 45 years old. Photos show most of the flaws, and photos of an ear hole closeup. The chrome is clean, but has some rust blisters, as shown.
