Description: Vintage “On Safari” by Theodore J. Waldeck, 1940 - no longer in print. The author joined his first African expedition at the age of 18. After WW1 he returned to Africa as a member of the Frobenius Expedition and later organized and led several other expeditions to East Africa, Belgian Congo, Abyssinia, and the Sudan. Out of his African experiences he wrote “On Safari”, the story of what it means to be an explorer. Hardcover book in good vintage condition. There are two small notations and two notation mark outs, but hardcover, pages and bindings are in good condition; some wear on inside front and back covers. Approximate size 8.5” height x 5.75” wide x 1” deep. Please see photos.
