Description: OLD STONEWARE BEER MUGThis is a nice old embossed pottery mug from Germany.It has an embossed design of 3 men with swords opening a bottle of beer. It is also embossed "Old Heidelberg".Note: There are some hairline cracks and it is crazed.A great old piece. Please see photos.These are from a huge lifelong collection, many of which were displayed in a German themed tavern called Stein Haus which has been closed for over 4 years. Much of the collection was purchased in Germany beginning in the 1960's during military service and continuing with many buying trips abroad afterwards.Having reached retirement age we have made the decision to sell the collection so that others may enjoy them.
