Description: THANKS for visiting my Sale Listing !! You are considering PURCHASING... ONE VINTAGE COLLECTIBLE PRE-OWNED OHLSSON & RICE MODEL .60 Model Airplane Engine AS SHOWN...... This classic, model engine belonged to my brother. We inherited it. My brother was into model airplanes and engines most of his life. We are not. So its time to clean out the protected, storage closet and move forward. I'm not a VINTAGE - MODEL AIRPLANE ENGINE - EXPERT. SO.....I'm going to have rely on the many photos that I've posted to do most of my talking for me about this engine. I've removed the three bolts/nuts from this engine so as to show you how clean and nice the interior of the piston is - See photo #10. Everything moves freely but the piston appears to be stuck. The one easily movable/rotating part is stamped "O & R 60 - STD" - See photo #5. I'm not going to force the piston to move. It hardly looks like its had much use?.....SEE PHOTOS. I was told that this engine was produced on or about the year 1949 - because of its stamped SERIAL NUMBER = 073899. I was further informed by my friend that he thought this was one of the last of the .60 SIDEPORT O & R engine models produced. I cannot guarantee these statements - so PLEASE examine the photos and YOU be the EXPERT in determining what exactly you will be purchasing. I note no sign of abuse or misuse. There is a small nick on the edge of the exhaust vent.....See Photo #5. This engine has NOT been detailed cleaned or polished. PLEASE understand that this engine is being sold "as-is" with NO returns. It is essentially UNTESTED and is being sold for parts, repair, etc., etc. Please check-out closely, the many photos that I have posted above for your own, personal evaluation as these photos are an important part of my description.
