Now with that said, we all know that vintage 80s, 90, and sometimes 2000s black T-Shirts over time tend to show some sort of those 2 words we hate… DRY ROT… With that said, I figured the best way to describe this shirt as best as I could would be to use a grading system using the scale of 1-10… 1 meaning that this shirt shows LITTLE TO NO SIGNS of dry rot. 5 meaning the shirt will tear with a FORCEFUL TUG & TWIST ON THE SLEEVE HEMS & WAIST HEMS. 10 meaning there is SIGNIFICANT SIGNS OF DRY ROT & WILL TEAR TO THE SLIGHTEST TUG ON THE SLEEVE HEMS & WAIST HEMS… Below you will see the score I give to this item based on the scale above… THIS IS JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION!!! DRY ROT SCORE (1-10): 2.5 Still a lot of life left in this shirt. If you pop the tag off and wash it and wear it you may even extend the life of it by washing out the black dye.
