Vintage New Old Stock Gerber Sportsman 2 II Folding Lockback Knife

Description: Vintage New Old Stock Gerber Sportsman II Folding Lockback Knife Vintage Gerber Sportsman II item # 6206 This is brand new, never used, carried or sharpened. There are some very light handling marks/surface scratches to the brass inlays and a few, very fine scratches on the blade which aren't visible unless you angle it into the sun just the right way. Definitely not deep enough to even feel with your fingertip, but if you angle it into the light the right way, you can see the marks. (See the photo of the blade with the dark shadow across the blade; its in the shadow area).I'm being ultra picky here, but I'm assuming this is going into someones collection and not as an everyday user, so every detail matters in collecting! The blade travels freely, but would benefit from an oiling after 50 years of sitting around. Snap is decent enough on opening, a little light on the close (again, an oiling....). Locks nicely into place, with a very light amount of play side to side. Knife handle has a brass frame outer portion handle with Madagascar Ebony wood inlays.
