Description: Older Sandusky Molding Plane. The plane is marked Sandusky Tool Co and has the model no 146 on the front. There is also a previous owners name stamped on the front below makers marks and on front of fence. This plane is a bit unique. The plane itself is 2" wide and 9-3/8" long. See last pic, blade is skewed/angled and so it measures slightly wider. A previous owner added a fence from a plow plane and put it on hinges and made a unique adjustment with brass and steel parts. It's actaul works quite well. You can angle the fence in and out. The plane looks nice and feels solid but does have some imperfections. The middle center of plane has a stress crack and also near the wedge and the but end. There is a chip in the fence. All minor stuff but otherwise looks nice. It's unique and modified and makes it one of a kind and more like folk art but a very usable plane as well. Comes as seen in pics. Any questions just ask.
