Description: Vintage Mexican Diego Rivera Art Print - 1940s - Chapel of Chapingo - NM Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Funky Christmas / Everyday Funky These books etc. come from my father-in-law's estate. We have an entire weaving and yarn shop inventory to sell that was filled to the brim. This print was found in a locked glass bookcase in my father-in-law's yarn shop in the back of another book. There was only the one plate left, which is odd, as they kept EVERYTHING! This plate is in NEAR MINT condition. There is no spine. There is no dust jacket. Actual front and back boards aren't their either. No marks or highlighting in text except on color picture. Page is off white, crisp, clean and unmarked. Color photography. Illustrated, collectible, 1st edition. This is the plate - XII. Chapel of Chapingo, Escuela de Agricultura de Chapingo, Mexico. There is a small bend in the upper right corner which should NOT show under framing. That is all that we see, but we have old eyes, so please look over the entire plate, front and back, to verify. Since this was part of a book, we are sending it Media Mail. If however, Ground Advantage is less, would you consider that as the shipping type? We are attempting to figure out how to lower buyer costs for shipping. We think Ground Advantage does that, according to eBay forums. We are also under the impression that the more we sell with Ground Advantage, the lower the cost will be. So far we have sold NO Ground Advantage, so can't claim that is true. Either way, we ONLY CHARGE for the actual cost of selling and will return any extra money, whatever that is, when we buy the label. We are humbly requesting any feedback you can give us when you see your shipping options. Is there a lesser priced choice you see? We will gladly change to any shipping method you want so we can get you any savings possible. As noted below, we ALWAYS return any extra costs other than the actual shipping costs printed by the postage meter. We truly appreciate any information you can give us. PLEASE NOTE: For absolutely no reason, eBay keeps changing the formatting on multiple listings which makes pictures un-viewable. We are asking, if you see one of our listings with missing pictures and blank spaces, please shoot us a note that tells us, so we can 1) send pictures to you via message if you want them and/or 2) go back into the listing and fix it AGAIN. There are many complaints about this from sellers. Apparently, eBay does not care to fix the problem. So a tiny message would really help, like ‘no pics’ or ‘pics messed up’. Please, be kind, and let us know if there is a problem. Thank you in advance :) Please NOTE: Old books are heavy books. Safe shipping may move them into the next postal category. Sorry! Please NOTE: We live in Michigan and it is winter. Even in the summer, we still have darker pictures because of how the house is placed on the lot. We have the Lake Effect almost every day – massive cloud cover. We are doing the best we can with interior lighting for the pictures. Also, please NOTE: Almost every book has a smudge somewhere. We mention it if we see it, but please assume we missed something. PLEASE NOTE: Because eBay is composed of soulless, bloodsucking monsters, and because it is forcing us to use an ISBN number for a book that DOES NOT have an ISBN number, and even when it DOES have an ISBN, still won’t let us use it, so we use one of a random book. Our book is pre-ISBN numbers. The Library of Congress number is not in the book. The LOC does not hyphenate when you put the number in to verify. Fake ISBN number is 9781014236289. Correct ISBN number is non-existent. We put in whichever one the system will take. Sorry! Please consider searching golem451, in the upper right corner of this page, to see what other items we have that are priced to move, and to see if you might want to buy something to add to your collection while saving $$$ on shipping. Many vintage children's books or coloring books already listed and many, many more coming soon! Thank you for your consideration. Note: We are running out of estate books and will be slowly changing over to their other possessions – some serious, some MCM, some just funky, or kitschy. Others are Depression era. Some will be brand new items, still in their packaging, and others will be more mainstream books (from one of the Grandma’s) or some of our personal books or collectables, as we are not leaving this mess to our kids. We hope you will have fun and stay with us. Shipping – All books are shipped on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday on the first day possible after payment is received around 8 to 9 AM. They are shipped by Media Mail in heavy brown paper, similar to a grocery paper bag unless stipulated differently in the listing. All wrapping and shipping materials are recycled from the cardboard to bubble wrap to 50 year old envelopes. Our packages are ugly, but are very carefully wrapped to arrive safely. We always combine shipping and refund the extra cost if you buy multiple items. Free local pick up! Please help us recycle these lovingly cared for curios in an environmentally friendly manner.
