VINTAGE MAYBELL TENOR GUITAR MARTIN STRINGS GOLD GROVER TUNERS 1920S SLINGERLAND

Description: A vintage Maybell tenor guitar probably from the 20s. Made in chicago. The body is 13" lower bout, 9 1/2" upper bout. The length of body is 18". From upper nut to lower bridge is approx 22 3/4". The action on this guitar is as shown , It has Martin strings on it. The front of the guitar has had the cracks repaired maybe from inside they are solid, the top has a little wave in it after repair. Looks like the braces inside have been reglued at some time. The guitar may have been refinished or varnish wiped down. It has had later gold grover tuners on it. A rare little guitar. I believe these were made by Slingerland. This guitar has had lots of repairs along the way , so if you want perfect look elsewhere. This one has character. No case will be packed well.
