Description: Majorica Simulated Pearl PM 70 Vintage Faux Pearl Necklace 29 Inch Safety Clasp This gorgeous set of simulated pearls or Majorica pearls are in very good vintage condition. They are preowned and have been well taken care of for many decades. This necklace measures approximately 29 inches and has a hook and push in closure as well as a safety latch with a chain and a spring ring. There are knots between each bead. The clasp has two paste rhinestones on each end and it looks like the clasp was diamond cut on the ends to give additional flash. The back of the clasp is marked PM 70 for the Majorica pearl, which, are only made in Spain. Conditional issues are age related wear to the metal parts where there are scratches and some metal degradation. In addition, the rhinestones have clouded and discolored a bit. The pearls are simply lovely and one can see the care and quality of which these were made. The pearls may have some light surface scratches and maybe a little dust in some missed places. Truly, this is a beautiful, classic and classy necklace that will last for many more decades if given loving care.
