Description: Vintage M Series Selmer Paris Bass Clarinet to low Eb Amaqzing Sound! M6368 non Tunable Neck. but tunes easily to A-440Original Case. I bought this for the second owners Estate, his name was Edmund Chassman and he bought this from Sol Betnum in Hollywood, CA and this Gem was used and the sale went down in 1986. It's in excellent shape and has had a custom peg attached to the botoom of the bell. And there was some extension alteration of the bell for the peg. The sound is pure magic and these are very rare. The case is in good shape and everything fits tight. Included is a great Vintage Selmer Bass Clarinet Mouthpiece that comes with the bass. According to my friend who has since passed away Gene Cipriano who worked many film, and recording sessions in the late 60-70's Edmund was a fine clarinet and bass clarinet player, and excellent woodwind doubler as well. He was never a super hign demand player since he owned real estate property and was casual about the session hustle.
