These were produced between 1950 and the 1960's as a promo item for Rail City Museum Sandy Pond, N.Y.Rail City was conceived in December, 1952 while Dr. Groman and his family were on vacation in the Southwest. It was the first Steam operating rail in the US. The museum opened on July 4th, 1955 and hosted over 30,000 visitors in the first year. Production was limited for this promotional licensed item. Hakes Auctions has had a few over the years always topping over a $100.
