Description: Here is a great vintage find of a Levi Strauss solid brass belt buckle that tells the history of the company, starting in San Francisco. They received a patent on the process of riveting pants, making them stronger. This is where the two horses come into the logo design, pulling a pair of pants. The date of their patent is on the very bottom. The letters XX was the original denim used for the jeans, which would later be replaced with the "501" denim jeans. Please review photos carefully. We try to take pictures as clear and as accurately as possible. The belt buckle is solid brass, made in Spain, and measures approximately 1 3/4" x 1 3/8". This would also make a great gift.
