Vintage large clear French Art Deco matte glass drops stones 1 1/2 in.

Description: These are extremely rare original vintage Lalique hand cut art deco crystal drops. The original box said "Made in France" (I have had requests for the actual box. sorry I don't have one to send you, the boxes were destroyed in a flood). These are super high quality crystal pieces that measure over 1 ½ inches in length. The pieces were hand cut and hand polished. They have a very find matted satin finish to them. This finish is not like most matted or camphor finished glass beads. This is a much more subtle satin type of finish. These are some of the most rare Lalique crystal jewelry pieces I have ever seen. There is a single hole in the top of the drop to glue in a screw cap or wire for hanging. In the early days beads were strung on strings and stones were packed in paper, so they may have rubbed against each other and have very, very tiny nicks. Some of the foil may have rubbed off the back of some of the stones, but we do try to send you the best possible. I usually throw in an extra stone or bead, just in case there is one that is not quite perfect. We sell old stock that has never been used, but it is never going to look like brand new or imported items.
