Description: This is an auction for a nice vintage fur hat, which I'm sure is real fur. I'm guessing the fur is either mink or fox, but I'm not entirely sure. This hat doesn't have a label on the inside. I obtained this hat with the styrofoam and the hat box. I'm not sure if either are original to the hat. The box has honest age wear and is at least a little out of shape. You can see common stitching on the inside in the lining. The lining does have age darkening. The upper inside edge has the fabric that goes around the inside of the hat. This isn't stitched in the lining, so I feel it was made that way. The styrofoam has some age discoloration, scratching, gouging, and many small holes. The top of the lid, has an area above the woman depiction, that has a stickier feeling. This may be where a label was removed at one time. The box also shows some paper loss and paper wear, with some common darker colored marks. I may have missed some more imperfections on the box.
