Description: This is a Vintage Koret Chocolate Brown Calf Suede Handbag. A family member purchased it from Sacs Fifth Avenue (her initials were engraved into the clasp) and later passed it on to my mother. I believe it is from the late 1950s or early 60s. It is in excellent condition for its age. The metal is a shiny gold. The tag inside reads, "Koretolope" "Made from non-crockable suede calf". Not knowing what crockable meant, I found a little info online.: Crocking is transfer of color by rubbing. You see it on a lot of flocked type materials. This handbag has two interior gold rimmed pockets and an attached Talon zippered coin purse. Thanks for looking!
